One Person Company is the conversion of sole proprietorship firms into a corporate entity, with only one person as a member, where the legal and financial liability is limited to the company. In an OPC, a single promoter gains full authority over the company and also limits their liability to the extent of their contributions to the enterprise. Any natural person who is an Indian citizen, whether residing in India or elsewhere, is eligible to incorporate a One Person Company and appoint a nominee for the company.
