Scientists say that without intelligence, learning is impossible. Well, how true is this statement? Does it mean that if you’re not naturally intelligent you can’t learn? Does it mean learning is all dependent on natural intelligence? Now, here is some truth that we all need to hear before we can start beating ourselves for not being naturally intelligent. One French psychologist called Binet says; “Intelligence is not a simple quality or power, but a complex of abilities” So are abilities innate or learned? Well, this same science that we learn, states that most human abilities are learned and acquired over time. Other than those abilities that come as a result of genetic composition, any other ability can be learned in the course of a lifetime. So, cheer up because even if you are not naturally intelligent, with the right guidance, you can acquire this ability and be able to learn like any other person.
