It's better to accept and not expect because when we expect something, we set ourselves up for disappointment if it doesn't happen. By accepting the present moment and the circumstances as they are, we are able to let go of any preconceived notions and be open to new possibilities. Additionally, when we accept things as they are, we are able to focus on what we can control and take action to change it. Expectations can also lead to pressure and stress, which can negatively impact our mental and physical well-being. In contrast, acceptance allows us to live in the present and be content with what we have.
