Insight Print Communications was founded in 1992 in Mumbai. It was initially started as a proprietorship firm and metamorphosed into one of India's leading Printing Solutions Provider. Having set the vision of becoming the leader in complete Print Solutions all under one roof, Insight kept striving to create value, exceed customer expectations through continuous product innovations and cutting-edge technologies. Insight has achieved multiple milestones in its 30-year journey and continues to do so even today.

The very first success story for Insight came in the late '90s when Insight became the market leader in pre-press solutions across the country. It was then that the organization spread from one location in Mumbai to multiple locations and expanded itself in North and South India.

By the next decade, Insight recognized and entered a completely new market of providing solutions for Industrial Outdoor Digital Signage. This covered solutions for printing billboards, shopfronts, signages and other large outdoor advertisement structures that are seen daily. With this, Insight established solid business relationships with Hewlett-Packard, quickly captured the market and became industrial leaders yet again.

Meanwhile, the Pre-Press Industry was changing with the advent of CTPs or Computer-To-Plate. Insight worked closely with Kodak to establish Kodak Thermal CTPs as the most preferred CTPs in commercial and packaging segment. Currently, it has installed more than 1,000 CTPs across the country.

Another turning point in Insight's history was when it became the market trendsetter with Offset printing press sales providing brand new machines in a market dominated by second hand equipment. In just over a decade, Insight established Komori as the market leader in offset press sales with more than 300 press installations. In 2018, Insight started a joint venture with Komori Corporation, Japan and moved its offset division under Komori India Private Limited.

With the advent of iPad and Kindle, Insight realized that digital learning, print and publishing will eventually become the norm and therefore, it started a separate sister concern in Pune to focus specifically on eBooks and eLearning.

With malls culture becoming a norm in India, outdoor industry had evolved and the focus had shifted from Outdoor Advertising to high quality Indoor Prints. Insight, with its relationship with Hewlett Packard, started promoting the endless possibilities of the next generation HP Latex platform for indoor usage. What was earlier limited to Outdoor Digital Signage, had now expanded its reach to the Interior Design and Decor segment. Multiple new applications such as wallpapers, window blinds, canvas, leatherette, along with pre-existing outdoor signages became readily accessible to India's printing industry.

Insight set out to drive the change; the switch from traditional methods to the new way of printing. It shifted its focus towards promoting Digital Printing Solutions and Services. It has ventured into multiple different verticals in Digital Printing: Digitally Printed Textiles, Digitally Printed Labels, Digital Corrugation Printing and Digital Commercial Printing.

Insight became Channel Partners for Mimaki and started promoting Digital Dye Sublimation Printers. Although having no prior knowledge and experience of the Textile segment, Insight was determined to make this venture a success. It was able to re-establish Mimaki as one of the top three suppliers of branded Digital Textile machines in India.

Predicting the eventual need and requirement of producing short-run labels for the industry, Insight decided to develop its Digital Printed Labels segment and partnered up with SCREEN Japan to bring their digital label press to India. The past 5 years have seen multiple new and upcoming start-ups that produce their own goods. All these goods required packaging in short-run; however, the conventional methods were not proving to be cost effective.

Insight group is built on the platform of highest quality standards, with the intent of providing world class product & solutions. It has always stayed ahead of the curve and developed new verticals and innovations to bring to the printing industry.
