This place is also a well known part of Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary.Tungnath is visited by many Shiva devotees as this is the highest Shiva temple in the world. It is the third Temple of Panch Kedar circuit with Kedarnath and Madmaheshwar on the left and Rudranath and Kalpeshwar on the right.
