This beautiful art form of pottery dates back to more than 600-700 years. It comes from the infamous Pathans of Khurja city who put a setting stone for this craftwork. There are various folklores attached to this art form, one of which is the legend that the Mughals when colonized India brought in the form of pottery. Even after facing such a brutal history, this craftwork is said to be the livelihood for a huge number of artisans in our country.
