E-IDP

An International Driving Permit is a permit that allows you to drive in countries where a UK license alone is not sufficient. These countries include the USA, Brazil, and Japan, among others. An International Driver’s Licence (the correct term is “international driving permit”, or IDP) is a document that allows you to drive a motor vehicle legally in 174 countries when it is accompanied by your valid local driver’s license. It contains your name, photo, and driver information. Many rental car agencies may also require an international driving permit or recommend an international driving permit.
