Sterilization pouches are used to hold goods while they are being sterilized. Different pouches are needed depending on the available sterilization methods because not all pouch materials are acceptable for use in all types of sterilization processes. Steam sterilization is carried out using plastic or paper pouches. The pouch's plastic side makes its contents and chemical indication clearly visible. The sterilant and air can be removed from the pouch thanks to the paper side.
