Foamed-in-place gasketing involves a two part material system that can be applied directly to a substrate. A chemical reaction occurs between the two parts when they are mixed together and injected into a mold or substrate. As it expands, it bonds to the substrate forming a durable seal with excellent insulation properties. This type of gasketing is ideal for applications where traditional die cutting or compression molding processes would not be appropriate due to size or shape limitations.
