When asked to evaluate this website, I was hesitant. As an adult gamer, I'm looking forward to playing newer games on my gaming rig and next-generation consoles while also reflecting back on titles I may have missed. I played Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, and perhaps more platforms. Even the most obscure platform has a must-play title, and these platforms have huge game libraries. Younger gamers may dismiss older games because "the graphics are bad" or "it's so old!" My consoles will be as outdated as Playstations and Xboxes by the following generation. They don't realize that certain video games are masterpieces that stand the test of time. Photoshop doesn't excuse the Mona Lisa's destruction. Since it's vital to remember our history as gamers, I built a retro gaming area. We'll examine old video games from the Playstation 2 to the Atari 2600 in this section. This includes older PC games; release date and platform are considered. New retro-styled games will be added in the "Video Games" section. I'll examine old games, hidden gems, and iconic duds, as well as unofficial homebrew carts, level hacks, etc. Everything will be done on real hardware, no emulation.
