Roma midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has maintained a fractured tibia in his right leg, departing the Netherlands international in a race against time to recover his wellness ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Wijnaldum, 31, only joined Roma on loan from Paris Saint-Germain this summer and has so far made just one formation for the Serie A flank.
