Luis Enrique's team is one of the favourites to win the Qatar FIFA World Cup. Spain has been disappointing in the last two World Cups. They were impressed with qualifying, having lost just one of their eight matches (away in Sweden), finished their group top and are looking to improve in Qatar. Who could be their main player? Pau Torres, a central defender often linked with a departure from Villarreal, played 33 league appearances last season. He has already played 19 games for the Spanish national team at the age of 25 and will be a solid presence in Luis Enrique’s defence.
