At the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022, presented by Mastercard, four current drivers of the British Touring Car Championship will drive up the hill as Dan Cammish drives the time trial in the all-new BTCC car. While Cook, Plato and Morgan won't be riding, and all four will have to leave for the BTCC race at Croft that weekend, they will attend a Q&A and autograph session with Kwik Fit. This is the second time the latest generation BTCC hybrid race car has taken to the hills of Goodwood, with the Toyota Corolla test car making its debut at the 2021 Festival of Speed, showing the future of the championship. After two rounds, the new-generation BTCC machine has already proven it can make great games, with festival star Josh Cook sitting second in the standings with two wins in the last time out of Brands Hatch. A year later, shootout ace Cammish returned to the championship full-time in the opening round at Donington. After a tough first lap, he won two podiums at Fox, putting him back in the running for the 2022 season and two places behind Morgan in the standings.
