Created in collaboration with the Peter Virdee Foundation by Manjit KGill, Founder and CEO of Binti International, the time policy promotes and guarantees equality for everyone visiting Gurdwara, from regular congregations to first-time visitors. This means providing free menstrual products and menstrual education to the Sikh community, including open discussions about menstruation to get rid of shame, stigma, and taboo. Policy making day I was part of a group of female volunteers, along with other Binti teams from different religious backgrounds. Wearing a red suit and a red scarf, you're ready to answer questions about Binty's work. We have set up informative and colorful stands in the Langar Hall, an open community area in Gurdwara where free hot vegetarian meals are served, where the congregation usually meets.
