The Unani medicines are supposed to be the primary medication. This might have remained true if we had not distributed the Ayurvedic system of medication into two parts. The first system, the Avanti, was founded by B.K.S. Patanjali. It is called Avanti because it bases its treatment on the use of a few select herbs and minerals that are assumed to compose balance in the body's reactions.
