The FM reported that any premium procured on EPF commitments over Rs 2.5 lakh per annum will be burdened. This new principle will happen from 1 April 2021 for all PF commitments, legal or deliberate. Both the places of parliament have effectively passed the Finance Bill, and consequently there is no way of a rollback of this arrangement.
