How is the stomach balloon process performed? The gastric balloon operation is a non-surgical procedure that is performed through an oral endoscope, and it does not take more than 30 minutes inside the operating room, and also local anesthesia is used, not the total, and the process is carried out in many points: An anesthetic is placed inside the mouth to help relax and prevent constriction of the esophagus during the balloon placement. It is inserted into the stomach by the endoscope, where the balloon is shrunk and then the balloon is filled with a blue saline solution, until it is known if the balloon has been perforated inside the stomach and this matter is noticed by the patient in the color of urine. Then it settles in the stomach, and it continues until the patient reaches the desired weight.
