The 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 is a classic truck that responds exceptionally well to modern upgrades, and converting the turn signals to LED is one of the most impactful changes you can make. The factory incandescent bulbs are slow to light, emit a dull amber glow, and consume significantly more power than modern LEDs. By upgrading to LED turn signals, you gain instant illumination, a crisp and bright light output, and a much longer lifespan. However, this conversion comes with a technical challenge: hyper-flash. LEDs draw so little current that the truck's flasher relay interprets this as a burned-out bulb, causing the turn signals to blink twice as fast as normal.
