Taking good care of your braces is essential for keeping your teeth healthy and your orthodontic treatment on schedule. Brush after every meal with a soft-bristled toothbrush, floss daily using floss threaders or a water flosser, and avoid hard, sticky, or chewy foods that can damage brackets and wires. Wear any rubber bands or appliances exactly as instructed, attend regular orthodontic appointments, and contact your orthodontist if a bracket or wire breaks. Good braces care helps prevent cavities, gum disease, and treatment delays.
