Cytogam/ Cytomegalovirus Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human) is a CMV-specific immune globulin indicated for the prophylaxis of cytomegalovirus (CMV) disease in high-risk transplant recipients and other susceptible patients. By providing passive immunity through high levels of anti-CMV antibodies, it helps reduce the risk and severity of CMV-related complications in immunocompromised individuals. Cytogam is supplied as a single-dose vial containing 50 mg/mL, with dosing and administration determined according to the patient's clinical condition, transplant status, and treatment protocol.
