Belzutifan (Welireg) is a hypoxia-inducible factor-2 alpha (HIF-2α) inhibitor indicated for the treatment of adults with von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease requiring therapy for associated renal cell carcinoma (RCC), central nervous system hemangioblastomas, or pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, as well as certain patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) and pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma (PPGL). The recommended dosage for most adult patients is 120 mg taken orally once daily, with or without food, continued until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. Tablets should be swallowed whole and taken at the same time each day, with dosage adjustments considered in specific pediatric PPGL patients based on body weight.
