These kits contain everything you need: various grits of sandpaper (typically 400, 800, 1500, and 3000 grit), polishing compound, and a UV sealant. Beyond the kit, gather painter's tape, microfiber towels, a spray bottle with water and a drop of dish soap (for wet sanding), and a variable-speed drill with a sanding/polishing pad attachment (included in most quality kits).
