The scientific name for termites is “Epifamily Termitoidae” they come from “Blattodea” order of insects which is similar to cockroaches. The genetic and molecular evidence proves that both the cockroach and the termite evolved from common ancestors and hence they have an intimate relationship with the cockroaches.
