Kidney disease means there is damage to your kidneys; hence aren’t working properly. Many kidney conditions are “chronic” because the kidney function worsens over time. Many kidney diseases can lead to kidney failure also called end-stage kidney disease. At this point, you’ll need dialysis (artificial filtering) or a kidney transplant. There are various kidney diseases like nephrotic syndrome, acute damage to the kidneys, chronic kidney disease and nephritis.
