Specifically developed for handling and installing vertical supports for OLE (stovepipes) in tunnels and under gantries.. The Stovepipe Installer makes light work of positioning and fitting stovepipes and dropper tubes to tunnel roofs and gantry structures. The device incorporates a telescopic carriage making it suitable for 1m to 5m long tubular components. A hand operated hydraulic lift allows the installers to complete the lifting operation with high precision – effectively eliminating the risk of the excavator damaging the structure. The specially designed clamps allow plenty of lateral movement and free rotation of the steel to when aligning bolted flanges. A range of adapter heads is avaiable to suit all kinds of excavators and loaders.
