Lynch syndrome is a genetic disorder that runs in families, and it can increase your risk of developing colon cancer. Lynch syndrome can be linked to other types of cancer, and Lynch syndrome increases your chance of developing different types of cancer. Lynch syndrome can be inherited. Talk to your family about any history of colon this cancer.
