The firm believes that there is a massive gap in visibility on the API layer in terms of information consumption and exposure via the API. As a result, API governance and posture management are lacking. Hackers have exploited these vulnerabilities and are actively targeting these APIs due to misconfiguration and anomalous API behavior.
