The University of Sharjah (UOS) and VMware have agreed to establish a VMware IT Academy to provide IT students at the university with accreditation in revolutionary digital solutions such as app modernization, cloud, networking, security, and digital workplace. The MoU was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Salah Taher Al Haj, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs, and by Ahmed Auda, Managing Director, Middle East, Turkey, and North Africa (METNA), VMware, to promote mutual collaboration in information technology, train students, and provide educational resources, as well as organise events, workshops, and seminars in the field.
