Navratna ("nine precious stones") was a term applied to a group of extraordinary new people in an imperial court in India. Navaratna include the legendary emperor Vikramaditya, the Mughal emperor Akbar and the feudal lord Raja Krishnachandra. These Gemstone names were created during the creation of the Universal and we are all associated with Navaratna through our individual Nakshatras and therefore our Raasis. The Raasis in turn are based on the position of the planet at the time of our birth. The navaratna is identified to build a link between us and the God who is the vigraham.
