Installing a leveling kit is a moderate DIY job, taking approximately 3 hours with basic hand tools . The process involves supporting the vehicle, removing the front wheels, disconnecting the sway bar links and tie rod ends, and dropping the lower control arm to remove the strut . While a "no strut disassembly" kit avoids the need for spring compressors, a professional wheel alignment immediately following the install is non-negotiable . Changing the front ride height alters your toe and camber angles; driving without an alignment will destroy your tires.
