The wall test is precise, but real-world verification is crucial. Take your Jeep to a dark, safe road. With your low beams on, you should see a clear, bright path ahead without the light glaring off road signs directly in front of you. The area illuminated should feel even, without dark holes or sudden drop-offs. Have a friend drive toward you (or observe your Jeep from a distance as someone else drives it) to confirm your low beams are not blinding. For auxiliary lights, test them off-road: fog lights should light up the ground without creating a bright pool right at the bumper; spot beams should throw light usefully into the distance.
