If our laptop does not show a touch screen display. We will need a mouse to revive a disabled touchpad. Sometimes it happens due to hardware issues, mic and other pointing technical issues, external mouse connectivity issue. There is a link in the touchpad tab, which opens the custom Del settings window with the toggle switch to turn the main touchpad on and off. Reinstall touchpad drivers • Open Device Manager. • Right-click the name of the device, then select Uninstall device. • Select Uninstall and then restart your PC. • Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
