If our laptop does not show a touch screen display. We will need a mouse to revive a disabled touchpad. Sometimes it happens due to hardware issues, mic and other pointing technical issues, external mouse connectivity issue. There is a link in the touchpad tab, which opens the custom Del settings window with the toggle switch to turn the main touchpad on and off. One of the most important features of our laptop is a function key that enables the touchpad. There are many ways of the removing the issue of touchpad stops, maybe our cursor is running very fast or too slow, possibly the touchpad feels very sensitive, the phantom is registering clicks and gestures. To open Device Manager, Click device manager in Search on the taskbar, then select Device Manager. Update touchpad drivers “laptop touchpad not working” • Open Device Manager. • To find touchpad devices, select Human Interface Devices or Mice and other pointing devices, then right-click the device you'd like to update. • Select Update Driver. Reinstall touchpad drivers • Open Device Manager. • Right-click the name of the device, then select Uninstall device. • Select Uninstall and then restart your PC. • Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
