At the heart of an RFID entrance automation system is the RFID tag, a small electronic device that contains a unique identifier and is attached to an individual's keycard, badge, or even integrated into their smartphone. This tag communicates wirelessly with RFID readers, which are strategically placed at entry points. As an individual approaches an access point, the RFID reader detects the tag's presence and instantly verifies its authenticity.
