The first 53-man roster of the Jacksonville Jaguars for the NFL 2022 season has been established. Head coach Doug Pederson and his staff had to make some tough decisions in the latest roster cuts, the team swapping wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr., but in the end, these players are the players Jacksonville wanted, at least for now. Players like wide receiver Tim Jones, linebacker De’Shaan Dixon's uneducated rookie and rookie cornerback Josh Thompson may not be well known yet, but they have played an essential role throughout training camp and the season. Both have won their places in previous games. Of course, with interesting players from other teams now on the exemption line and perhaps some injuries to deal with, there will be even more action in the coming days.
