White ants are actually termites, and they have soft, pale, cream-colored bodies. They look similar to ants but have straight antennae, a thicker waist, and equal-sized wings (when winged). Worker termites are small and white, while soldiers have larger heads with strong jaws. Winged termites are darker but still lighter than ants. Seeing them often indicates hidden termite activity in wood or soil.
