Bed bug droppings look like tiny black or dark brown dots, similar to ink stains or pepper specks. They are often found on mattress seams, bed sheets, pillows, furniture, or walls near sleeping areas. When wiped with a damp cloth, the droppings may smear or stain, as they are made of digested blood. These marks are a key sign of an active bed bug infestation and should not be ignored.
