Walk in bathtubs are very common, especially among luxury homes that have more space and bigger bathrooms. And the good thing about a walk in bathtub is that it is possible to have one installed in a place where a regular bathtub would be impossible to fit, such as in the master bedroom or the bathroom adjacent to the living room. But even if you do not want to go for a walk in bathtub, there are still other options you have. For example, a recessed corner shower or one that can be positioned anywhere within the bathroom walls and around the back or front door of the house. These types of walk in showers are also much easier to install, with only a few holes required around each corner and a drain or a pipe at the bottom of the enclosure.
