The two primary challenges are uncertain laws and inconsistent regulations. Modifications to feed-in tariffs or subsidy programs, among other legislative changes, may erode the trust of developers and investors, which could prevent long-term planning and investment in solar photovoltaic systems. Another worry is grid integration, especially in rural or isolated locations where there may not be enough grid infrastructure to support large-scale solar arrays. Technical issues like voltage swings and grid congestion could result from this, necessitating expensive upgrades or changes to the grid infrastructure.
