Twitter is a social media platform on which users type a tweet and send it to Twitter’s server, which relays it to a list of other users called followers. It allows the users to post and interact with messages; registered users can post, like, and retweet the tweets. In addition to sharing tweets, users can select to track specific topics by clicking on hashtags, creating a dialogue of varieties, and compelling the number of followers in a given Twitter feed into the millions.
