Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple is 28 km away from the city of Nashik in Maharashtra This Shiva temple is known to be one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

The Brahmagiri mountain (where the holy river Ganges originates) and the Kushavarta Kund (the holy pond) are in the premises of Trimbakeshwar, Nashik.
Kushavart Kund is built by Shrimant Sardar Raosaheb Parnekar. Who was known as Fadnavis of Indore city. And the present Trimbakeshwar temple is built by Shrimant Nanasaheb Peshwa in 1755-1786.
