Transgender MtF (male to female) refers to a person who was AMAB—assigned the gender “male” at birth. This is mainly because they have a male body. However, they identify as female and want to be referred to as "she" because they realized while growing up that they were females, and is transitioning to life as a woman. This is perfectly normal and should be respected by society.
