Step 2:Download the latest Avira installation file.
Step 3:Double-click on it and repair the software by using the repair or update option.
Step 4:Turn off your proxy connection while performing the update.
Step 5:Relaunch the Avira antivirus program and update the software again.
Step 6:Before you start updating Avira, make sure that you disable or uninstall any third-party security application installed on your computer.
