ServiceNow commits to achieve Net-Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030
ServiceNow has committed to achieve Net-Zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030 in order to further its vision of "workflow a better world" -- one that is more sustainable, fair, and ethical.

Prior to 2050, ServiceNow set a goal to achieve net-zero GHG emissions. ServiceNow discovered that 93 percent of its carbon footprint comes directly from its value chain (Scope 3) emissions, according to a third-party assessment1 done by Watershed in July 2021, which analysed the company's full corporate carbon footprint. ServiceNow has built a schedule 20 years ahead of the Paris Agreement and set an ambitious aim of Net-Zero GHG emissions by 2030 by defining science-based targets that are focused on internal reduction programmes and supplier engagement activities.ServiceNow will submit its targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a partnership that establishes and supports best practises in science-based target development and independently analyses organisations' reduction targets, in the coming weeks for approval.
