PTE Describe Image | Template and Tips - EduTrainex
Describe Image task uses a key scoring area that is entirely focused on pronunciation. The idea here is to be easy to understand by regular English speakers, you get marks for how clearly you pronounce the words and how correctly you stress the syllables. Applicants are advised to speak fluently and without hesitations, to speak at a natural rate and with a good rhythm during the PTE Describe Image task. When testing, it is not necessary to stress the words in a sentence, but to emphasize which syllable in each word should be stressed, and if you don't know what syllables are, in simple terms - a word can be divided into many syllables (and has one vowel sound). For the Describe Image question, marks are awarded based on how fluently you speak. There are three aspects to oral fluency, Sentence stress, Pace and Pausing, and Voice modulation.
This template uses meaningful words, not grammatical words to describe an image, which is called sentence stress. Effective sentence structure involves nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs, all of which carry meaning within a sentence. For PTE Describe image template to work, you must control your pace. Many students try speaking fast to cover more points and sound more urgent. If you are a non-native speaker, you should always maintain a moderate pace, so that your speech does not seem rushed or slow, and you should use punctuation symbols such as commas and full stops to facilitate pauses.
