Parliament Session: The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha is starting today (24 June) after the formation of the new government. Lok Sabha proceedings will begin at 11 am. First of all, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ministers in his cabinet will take oath as MPs. Protem Speaker Bhartruhari Mahtab will administer the oath to them. After PM Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will take oath. After that other members of the Council of Ministers will take oath as MPs. The session will continue till July 3. There will be a total of 8 meetings in 10 days.
