The ongoing pandemic is teaching the importance of maintaining hygiene in our everyday life. Apart from the frequent hand-washing regime and the sanitizer and mask, wearing non-sterile gloves has also become a common affair among travelers. Though the gloves are not sterilized and are neither approved by the FDA, they are a one-time use only. The gloves are made of polymers like latex and vinyl. The latex free ones are made of nitrile which are quite popular in the food manufacturing industry. However these non sterile gloves are only used when you are in direct contact with body fluids, non-intact skin, secretions, excretions, or touching surfaces contaminated with them.
