NHL is an American sports–oriented cable and satellite television network that is a joint venture between National Hockey League ( controlling of 84.4 percent interest ) and NBC Universal (owns the remaining 15.5 percent interest). NHL is basically broadcasted in the United States and its headquarters are in Secaucus, new jersey, United States. NHL TV was launched on 1st October 2007; around 15 years ago. the network was developed out of a joint venture between the NHL and cable provider Comcast. The National Hockey League is shown on national television in the United States and Canada where 25 teams are from the US and 7 teams from Canada.
