As a major in pastoral studies, you will receive training not only in the complex inner-workings of your church and denomination, but you will also be equipped to offer spiritual guidance and counselling to individuals who need it. Students who earn a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies have the opportunity to learn more about themselves, investigate Christian traditions, and hone their ministry abilities both in the church and in the wider community. The MAPS program focuses on developing pastoral leadership abilities within congregations and faith-based communities.
