This comprehensive course, offered by the esteemed Hindu University of America, is perfect for beginners of Sanskrit, Hindi, or any other language that utilizes the Devanagari script. With a focus on learning the alphabets, combination letters, and pronunciation of vowels and consonants, this course lays a strong foundation for your language learning journey. One of the unique aspects of this course is its emphasis on the origin of sounds in Devanagari. Understanding the roots of the language and its pronunciation nuances can greatly enhance your language learning experience. Through 15 hours of instruction in English over a 10-week period (one quarter at HUA), you will gain proficiency in reading, writing, and pronouncing the Devanagari script.
