Gosaikunda Trekking has several importances and one of them is mythology. Many tourists who love crowd less trekking prefer this trail as the site offer scenic view of mountains and beautiful lakes. The lakes are the main attraction of this trek.Gosaikunda is located in Rasuwa district of Nepal. It (Gosaikunda) is a medium sized lake and it is a source of Trishuli River. 'Kunda' is Nepali word for lake. The site is popular destination for migratory birds from Siberia. While returning to Russia from Chitwan these migratory birds take rest in Gosaikunda. The other beautiful part of this trekking is that you get chance to witness more than 100 lakes in this area ranging from small to medium size.
